Our founder, Steve Regis, is a former Royal Marines Commando, a specialist in amphibious warfare. After the military he worked in private maritime security and sailed on more than 50 ships through high-risk areas.
Time and again he saw ships relying on razor wire: inconsistent, dangerous for the crew to handle, and never designed for the threat. Palaemon was built to replace it with a practical, scalable, engineered approach to vessel perimeter protection.
